Our story
Why We Built the Missing Data Layer
After more than 15 years building a leading MSSP/MDR company, we struggled with a significant and persistent problem: our log data required major transformation for us to perform threat detection using Machine Learning and AI.
We evaluated countless tools and third-party data management platforms, but the reality was always the same—too much complexity, too much manual effort, and too much cost, with no practical solutions that actually worked.
Following our successful exit from our MDR company, we reassembled the original data science team to take on this challenge directly. Built on top of 15+ years of R&D, we discovered a new data paradigm to create a new parallel data structure, contextually enriched via a Data Science workbench.
Organizations today are moving quickly to embrace AI, however the vast majority are still relying on legacy data stacks designed for storage, search, and human review—not for AI-led threat analysis, SOC Automation, and LLM reasoning at scale.
That is why we founded Knowledge Grid: to provide the missing data layer for AI, The Cognitive Data Layer.
Our mission is to help organizations transform their raw data into a modern data foundation that is optimized at ingest for use in cyber security products, anomaly detection and AI reasoning with superior data context, performance and cost.

Company Mission & Vision
Knowledge Grid provides a purpose-built “AI infrastructure stack" that prepares data for use in cyber security platforms and products that use log or telemetry data, making it far easier to continuously analyze data to detect threats, surface unknown attackers, and become instantly usable for AI agents and LLMs.
Strategic Mission 2026+
Our mission is to help organizations transform their raw data into a modern data foundation that is optimized at ingest for use in cyber security products, anomaly detection and AI reasoning with superior data context, performance and cost.
Global Vision 2026+
Our vision is to build the cognitive data foundation for the age of Agentic AI, to enable clients to transform raw telemetry into high-signal knowledge structures that power intelligent analytics and autonomous AI operations.
Why Knowledge Grid? - Why We are Different
Knowledge Grid is the AI-ready data layer that fixes the telemetry problem for SOCs and AI agents. We transform messy data into high-signal knowledge for a secure, autonomous future.
Purpose-Built Knowledge Layer
Specifically engineered for security, our knowledge layer organizes raw telemetry into contextual structures that AI can actually understand and act upon.
Unsupervised Anomaly Detection
Leverage unsupervised learning on structured knowledge to identify novel threats and outliers without the limitations of manual rules or labeled datasets.
Faster Triage & Fewer False Positives
Drastically reduce alert fatigue for the SOC by enriching alerts with immediate context, enabling sub-second triage and more accurate detection.
Agentic AI Readiness
Future-proof your security stack for 2026 with a data foundation optimized for LLM reasoning and autonomous agent orchestration.
Multi-Source Telemetry Mastery
Unify messy, high-volume telemetry from disparate sources into a consistent grid of knowledge without losing critical detail.
